Bangkok, Thailandia

It is 27 October 2017. A year has passed and the mourning is still being lived.
The blow-ups of His Majesty Rama IX, King Bhumibol Adulyadej, beloved Father of all the Thai people and nation, cover entire palaces and the city prepares to pay its last royal respects.

His Majesty Rama IX

Bhumibol Adulyadej, ruled since 9 June 1946, over seventy years, the longest lasting monarchy in Thai history. Beloved and respected for his social policies aimed at the development of the country, Rama IX is remembered in the streets and markets of the city that never stands still. Bangkok today slows down, turns black and weeps for the greatest of her fathers.

On this day, one year after the death of King Bhumibol Adulyadej, father of the nation and its people, the body will be cremated according to tradition and his example remembered in the history, hearts, and legends of this extraordinary country.
