Journalist | Photographer

Italy

Born in 1990, she is from Milan whose only truly local trait is a quick pace. The rest of his character and his way of seeing the world is based on Sicily, a land he deeply loves and in which his soul has deep roots from the stories and heritage of his maternal family.

Always aware of being a storyteller and traveller by vocation, she decided to follow her inclinations for writing and visual storytelling to make it her profession. She graduated in Foreign Languages and Literature at the University of Milan in 2015, specialised a year and a half later at Plymouth University (Devon, U.K.) with a Master of Arts Creative Writing and in 2017 at the John Kaverdash Academy in Milan with a Masters in Digital Photography, specialising in time in reportage storytelling and portraiture. In the meantime, she also completed her internship in various newsrooms. After three years as Operations Director of a small press agency in Milan, she decided to devote herself almost exclusively to text and visual reportage.

Places
Nostalgia permeates the energy of the seen, making the unseen the story's protagonist. We are on Nong Khai's Riverside, dressed up but empty.
Mekong Notes
Bangkok is a city on water and the canals of the Chao Phraya fill it like a beating heart in a fluid state.
