Ever since I was a child, I have felt drawn to the dimension of travel, both inner and outer.

Which are perhaps, after all, nothing but the same thing.

Born in Sicily, she moved to Lombardy at the age of five. And perhaps that is when her somewhat nomadic spirit first emerged; the same spirit that, after her studies, would lead her to live in Spain, Germany, Australia, and Switzerland.

An engineer by profession, in her private life she is rather the opposite: something of a dreamer, a lover of art and creativity, always on the move. Incurably curious, she takes any chance to embark on a journey, in the most varied ways and to the most diverse places.

What matters is to set off, to encounter what is unknown, different, new. As if in an inexhaustible search driven by the instinct to go ever deeper into the knowledge and understanding of oneself, of others, and of the world.

Her inseparable travel companion is her reflex camera, with which she tries to capture the experiences that move her. What fascinates her about photography, a passion since childhood, is the possibility of catching and preserving in memory the sensations and emotions she has lived, without great pretensions and aware of how a different light, perspective, or gaze can transform the same scene into a thousand different shades.
