She has a background in the social sciences, with a specialization in critical criminology. Together with her research group, she worked on a study of pathways out of penal institutions, and she has written articles on prison conditions.
As a volunteer, she has taken part in various socio-humanitarian projects in Italy and in several African countries — an experience that has enriched her personal life and complemented her training.
She currently works with vulnerable minors and adults, combining social work with sport as a means of socialization for everyone.
She takes photographs just for fun; what she likes most is looking back at them, especially the ones that capture moments of authentic life and have caught details that recall one particular moment.
