Racconto le storie che raccolgo lungo la strada,
con i piedi ancora sporchi di terra e inzuppati nel ricordo.

A Livornese on her ID card but a nomad in her soul, Elena Casolaro has a penchant for adventures and telling stories. Passionate about mountains and sports that are considered high-risk, she loves to embark on trips and experiences that she doesn’t know how they will turn out: her ideal weekend involves dizziness, windedness, oversized backpacks, and nature in its least domesticated state.
In the end, all excuses to dive below the surface of things, and understand more about herself and others.

He works with words, collecting and telling stories about travel, mountains and the people who live in these places. It all started with wandertrieb, a blog created to chronicle six months of life in Mexico, then Elena realized that since she had been able to hold a pen in her hand, writing has always been her way of giving voice to everyday things, to people who have no place in history books or headlines, and to encounters with others, the reason why travelling still makes sense.

In 2024 launches newsletter ROADS, a daily account of his solo journey through South America. ROADS is a newsletter about miles, places and people, but most of all about stories.
