A photographer and documentary filmmaker, his projects focus mainly on social issues. He has travelled across Africa for over ten years, documenting subjects related to human rights and healthcare.
Since 2011 he has been working on a long-term project called “BIRTH IS A DREAM,” which aims to document and raise awareness about maternal health in Africa.
BIRTH IS A DREAM is not just a work of reportage; it is the very reason Paolo decided to use photography as a tool for informing, raising awareness, and sharing stories from Africa.
