I seek out stories that too often have no voice and I enter into a relationship with what is only apparently different from me because the complexity of the world must be traversed and documented.

Born in Ravenna in 1989. She is the daughter of photographers, and with a humanities degree behind her, she grew up among photographic lenses, travel and an increasingly urgent interest in what it is about being human. Initially, photography was a natural extension of travelling, and it was only there that it found its space: it was the urge to recount worlds other than one’s own, slices of humanity and to denounce its contradictions.

After training through workshops, long-term courses and seminars with national and international photographers, his photographic research also began to try out other avenues: theatre, intimate photography and projects on social issues intrinsically linked to his local area.

For the past few years (after living in South America), he has been studying the Mapuche communities of Chile and developing a documentary photography project that combines photography and anthropology. She decided to do it her way, flying to the rural areas of Araucania (up in Chile) whenever possible and living in close contact with the people in the community.

She has published in several national and international photography magazines and exhibited in group and solo exhibitions.
Her urgency to travel, observe and narrate has not yet subsided.
